Sharon Howard’s research interests are in early modern crime and law, British history, and women’s and gender history. She has published a number of articles and a book, Law and Disorder in Early Modern Wales (2008), based on her PhD research.
Since 2006, she has managed several major digital history projects based at the Humanities Research Institute, University of Sheffield, including Old Bailey Online, London Lives, Locating London’s Past and Connected Histories. She recently worked as a researcher writing course materials for Data Management for Historians.
